UK and Irish domestic bonds

Avenir maintains electronically administered registers of bondholders for bonds settling in the CREST system in the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands. Avenir also offers certificated holdings and physical bond certificates. The Avenir Register offers online access to view and print certificates.

 

Our registry service is available to UK and Irish bonds (GB or IE ISINs) regardless of the size of bond issue or the listing venue. In addition to the CREST registration process and Euroclear UK & Ireland Limited requirements, specific legal structures also need to be adhered to and again we assist with this.

Firms from outside the EU are required to work through a UK subsidiary, which Avenir can help incorporate, if required. Again, our expert knowledge and use of electronic systems means that we can deliver these solutions in a matter of days, not months.

We work with companies regardless of where they are in their lifecycle, from IPOs to mature businesses and also offer a GB and IE ISIN application service.

Avenir’s electronic-based due diligence processes mean that high resolution scanned documents can be accepted rather than waiting on physical copies.

This streamlines the entire process, and critically important when working with directors who are spread over a wide geography and in turn saves clients significant amounts of time and money. We work with all exchanges that require or accept settlement in the CREST system.

Throughout the process we collaborate closely with corporate advisers, lawyers and others who are advising the business.

Once live on our Register, directors can grant access to shareholders, advisers and company directors their own direct access to their bond holdings.

Directors can download reports and Cap tables directly from the system. Our corporate actions service facilitate coupon distributions should your debt issue be coupon bearing.
